The Grok App 'Enhance Your Post' Button Is the Feature I Didn't Know I Needed

One thing I love about the Grok App is the "Enhance your post with Grok" button.

That feature has saved me hours of edits and typos. I always run it before I push send, and it often catches omitted words or missed punctuation. It is a great tool for someone like me who is typing fast between a GX10 bench note and a Linktree cancellation.

Tiny features beat new personalities

The AI industry wants you to care about whether Grok 4.6 is "Sonnet-class." I wrote why I will not rubber-stamp that on day one.

Enhance is the opposite kind of product: no new identity, no new religion. It looks at the draft you already wrote and asks whether you dropped a word. That is the job I actually pay for when I am posting as @wikiwayne.

How I use it without losing the voice

1. Write the post myself. Hot take, hardware note, cookie bet — mine.
2. Hit Enhance.
3. Accept punctuation and missing words. Reject tone-flattening.
4. Send.

If Enhance rewrites a joke into a TED talk, that is a reject. The Moon Trail posts and the GX10 unbox need to sound like a person who just opened a box, not a brand kit.

Same job as local models, different surface

On the GX10 I run Qwen 27B and DeepSeek Flash so private work stays private.

In the X app I need a 50ms proofreader, not 128GB of unified memory. Different layers of the same habit: do not ship sloppy artifacts.

Grok Build killed the Linktree bill. Enhance keeps the public posts from looking like I typed them on a trampoline. Neither one is a substitute for the homelab. Both are why I still have Grok installed while I argue with launch-day scoreboards.
