Summary
- I would focus on making $10,000 a month for a new business by reaching out to potential clients directly.
- Back in high school, I would rush home and use Google to find businesses spending money on ads.
- I would call these businesses and offer my services, expecting most to say no.
- I offered a risk-free proposal: if they liked my work, they could pay me; if not, they wouldn't have to.
- This approach helped me build a portfolio of case studies to show future clients.
- Anyone can generate leads by following this method, even if you're just 16 years old.
- I recommend checking Crunchbase for newly funded companies, as they might be in need of your services.
- Investors of these companies usually expect rapid growth, so offering to help can be very attractive.

How To Take Action
I would suggest starting by focusing on reaching out to potential clients directly. This method doesn't cost a lot of money or take much time. Check Google for companies spending money on ads, as these businesses are already investing in growth and may need more help.
A great way to get their attention is by offering your services using a risk-free proposal. Tell them they only have to pay you if they like what you do. This approach reduces their risk and helps you build a portfolio. Even if most of them say no, the ones who say yes can give you valuable experience and case studies to show future clients.
Another good way to find new clients is by looking for recently funded companies on Crunchbase. Investors want these companies to grow quickly, so they might be interested in outside help. By targeting new businesses with available funding, you increase your chances of landing clients who are ready and able to pay for your services.
Remember, persistence is key. Don't be discouraged by rejections. Instead, focus on building relationships and a reputation for delivering quality work. This will help you reach your business goals faster and make your offerings more attractive to upcoming clients.
