Slingshot Salvage

No gun. Only momentum. Swing asteroids into alien saucers, chain hits and survive the mothership in a glowing vector arcade.

Open fullscreen ↗Click the game first so it picks up your keyboard.

Controls

  • Press any key or tap to start.
  • Keyboard: Left/Right or A/D to turn; Up or W to thrust. Hold Space near a rock to tether, then release to fling.
  • Touch: left joystick steers and thrusts; hold the right TETHER button to grab a rock, then release to fling.
  • P or Escape pauses; on touch, use the pause icon.
  • Local top-five scores keep the three-letter initials entry: arrows and Enter/Space, type initials, or use touch controls.

How to play

  • Your ship has no gun. Tether nearby asteroids, build momentum by swinging, and release them into enemies.
  • Chain hits with the same rock for combo multipliers. Avoid collisions and enemy fire; earn an extra ship every 10,000 points.
  • Clear every saucer to advance. A mothership appears every third wave: only a large rock breaks its shield; hit the exposed hull twice to destroy it.
  • After game over, optionally post your score with your X handle, even if it is not a local high score. Your handle is remembered on this device.

Local scores stay on your device. Only scores you explicitly submit are sent to WikiWayne. X handles are self-reported, not verified — no sign-in required.

Handles are self-reported and not verified — anyone can enter any name. Scores come from a game running in your browser, so treat the board as fun, not a record book.
