Summary
- YouTube's algorithm in 2025 now promotes smaller channels on users' homepages, giving them a chance to be seen alongside big brands.
- To take advantage of this, focus on creating content that stands out and is engaging enough to be rewatched.
- YouTube first tests your video with a small audience, then expands if it performs well, which can lead to it reaching thousands or millions.
- Craft a compelling title that is both searchable and attention-grabbing. Use keywords for searchability and add an intriguing hook for appeal.
- Ensure your thumbnail visually represents the main point of your video. It should be clear, bold, and use no more than three elements.
- The first 5 to 10 seconds of your video are crucial. Use a hook like a provocative question, surprising stat, or dream scenario to grab attention.
- Keep viewers engaged throughout by answering questions they might have, and structure your video to hold their interest.
- Encourage viewers to watch more of your content by transitioning smoothly to suggesting the next video instead of wrapping up.
- YouTube values binge sessions, so creating content that leads viewers from one video to the next is beneficial.
- Occasionally include a call to action inviting viewers to book a consultation or learn more about your services, framing it as a continuing journey rather than an ending.

How To Take Action
I would suggest implementing some smart strategies on YouTube to get more eyes on your business. Since YouTube's 2025 algorithm now loves smaller channels, let's make it work for you!
First, focus on creating engaging videos that stand out. Start with a captivating title that includes keywords to help people find you. Add a twist to make it eye-catching. For example, instead of "Simple Baking Tips," try "Simple Baking Tips That Cut Your Prep Time in Half!"
Next, make sure your video thumbnail is clear and bold, showing the key point of your video. Use three elements at most, like an image, a word or two, and an icon, to grab attention quickly.
Don't underestimate the power of the first 5 to 10 seconds of your video. Use a hook—a question or surprising fact—to draw viewers in. This sets up the rest of your video to keep people interested.
As viewers watch, answer any questions they might have and structure your video to maintain interest. Encourage viewers to check out your other videos, guiding them smoothly to what's next. You want to keep them watching, as YouTube loves it when people binge your content.
Remember, every few videos, invite your audience to take the next step with you, like booking a consultation. Frame it as part of their adventure with you, not as an end.
These steps can really boost your channel's visibility and draw more clients your way—without spending extra money or time!

this is how you can blow up your business using the 2025 YouTube algorithm so listen closely because if you take advantage of the changes on YouTube right now you could be raking in new clients like never before these opportunities don't happen very often so when they do you need to grab them so in this video I'm going to show you the one big change that YouTube's made to its algorithm that's designed to help you the four things you need to get right to make sure it does and the tricks Pro YouTubers use to nail it every time to understand what YouTube's done for small channels in 2025 let's peek inside this fridge imagine if all you could see on the homepage were the Big Brand sodas and juices dominating the front shelves that's how YouTube used to work the algorithm always showed videos to each person based on what they thought they'd like but they really only showed popular videos from established Channels with large followings on people's home screen you know think Coke Gatorade big players only but now YouTube's reorganize the fridge for each individual user they've deliberately moved in some of those artisanal sodas small batch hot sauces and locally made yogurts to eye level based on each person's unique taste these represent the smaller newer channels that YouTube is now giving a chance to shine on people's homepages and it's not just me noticing this change I pulled you guys asking if you've noticed videos with low views from smaller channels popping up on your homepages and it turns out you've been getting it too this is a really clear sign that YouTube is intentionally trying to feature smaller creators and they've actually come right out and said that that's what they're doing this does not mean that the big brands are gone they're still in the fridge but now when you open up the homepage you're just as likely to discover that amazing hot sauce from the small producer down the street as you are to see The Familiar ketchup bottle if YouTube thinks you'll like it for Content creators this means there's a real opportunity to get noticed on the homepage buy your ideal audience even if you're just starting out but here's the catch just like that hot sauce your content needs to be eye-catching enough to stand out and have enough kick to make people want to buy it again so YouTube is giving you the homepage shelf space but it's up to you to maximize that opportunity here's how it works YouTube's going to show your video to a small pool of people that it thinks will be most interested based on their interests and their watch History it's kind of like a test run so then if enough of those people click on your video and they watch a good chunk of it YouTube takes notice they think hey people seem to like this let's show it to more viewers so then YouTube expands the pool showing your video to an even larger audience and guess what if it keeps performing in well this cycle repeats your video can keep reaching more and more people potentially snowballing into thousands or even millions of views but here's the important part you know to kick off this cycle and keep it going you need four things a killer title that makes people want to click a thumbnail that stops them mid scroll a video structure that keeps them watching till the end and finally a smooth Pathway to watch another of your videos get all four right and you're not just getting a shot at the homepage you're setting yourself up for exponential growth let's talk about the first make or break element your title get it wrong and you might as well not even make the video to begin with think about it you've got about a split second to grab someone's attention while they're scrolling your title needs to just reach out and grab them by the collar saying hey I've got exactly what you need here so every title you create needs to serve two purposes it's needs to be searchable and discoverable so searchable means using keywords that people are actually typing into YouTube but discoverable that's about grabbing attention when YouTube puts your video on someone's homepage the key is to combine both elements every single time because you really can't afford to ignore search traffic especially when you're just starting out but you also need that extra hook to really stand out when YouTube uh gives you a shot at the homepage let's break this down with some examples now so say you're a fitness coach and instead of just you know a video like how to lose 30 lbs which is searchable but kind of boring why not try how to lose 30 lbs without giving up pizza so what we did there we kept the searchable keyword of how to lose weight but we added a specific result and kind of an intriguing twist to it or if you're social media consultant don't just go with Instagram marketing tips punch it up to five Instagram marketing hacks that doubled my followers in 30 days again we're keeping our searchable terms but we're also adding that result that makes people think I need to know this remember your title needs to speak directly to your ideal client what problem are they desperately trying to solve what result would just make them drop everything to watch your video use numbers use the words how to be specific about results but whatever you do make sure you're including those searchable keywords you're balancing the need to show up in search results with the need to stand out on the homepage all right let's move on to thumbnails now this is where you really get to show off what your vide is about here's the key your thumbnail needs to visually represent the most important part of your video so let's just break this down so say you've got a title like budgeting hacks that saved me $500 a month what's the crucial element here it's the money saved right so your thumbnail might show a bank statement with a $500 balance increase or maybe a graph with a dramatic upward Trend or let's say you're a dog groomer with a video titled uh the five minute trick to stop your dog shedding you know your thumbnail could showcase a unique grooming tool or even a before and after of a dog's coat now don't overthink this your thumbnail doesn't need to be a work of art it needs to be clear bold and instantly understandable so to make sure of that I recommend not using any more than three elements in a single thumbnail that could be your face some text in an icon or a before and after with text in the middle you get it you know less is more here and here's another Pro tip for you so include some emotion in your thumbnail if you can an excited face next to that bank statement or some someone looking genuinely shocked by the results that they got can really drive home that impact of what you're sharing so text and thumbnails can work but again keep it minimal a few words just to reinforce your main point is plenty remember your title and thumbnail or a team the point is you're not just repeating your title in your thumbnail you're showcasing the result or the key Insight your viewers are after that's what'll get them to click but once they do you've got got to deliver so here's the harsh truth the first 5 to 10 seconds of your video are make or break right if you don't hook your viewer right away they're gone and YouTube notices that so how do you create a hook that you know grabs attention and doesn't let go well there are a few hook formulas that I personally love and use all the time one is to ask a provocative question something like what if I told you your resume is actually pushing employers away boom instant curiosity another is to hit him with a surprising stat did you know that 73% of couples say this one thing ruin their wedding day people love numbers especially when they're unexpected or you could paint a picture of their dream scenario imagine walking into your office next month to find your team has doubled productivity without working longer hours that gets people invested right away whatever hook you choose make it Punchy make it relevant and for God's sake make it quick but a great Hook is just the beginning here you've got to keep that momentum going throughout your entire video and that's where your overall structure comes in so after your hook you want to give viewers a little sneak peek of what's coming next so think about the three questions that your viewers are definitely going to want answers to based on the title and thumbnail of your video then just tell them you're going to answer each of those questions coming up in the video this gives them a reason to stick around you know this is actually so important to get people to stick around that I actually like to put it up on the screen like this then you can just Dive Right into your content you know this is where you can relax a bit and just teach what people came to find out YouTube's actually gone through a bit of a change recently where people are responding more and more to that long form pure educational content without all the bells and whistles attached to it you know they came for the info they searched for after all and if they're still with you at this point you can pretty much safely assume they're going to stick with you without all the crazy editing and Graphics but that doesn't mean you should just sit there and recite facts you know tell stories when you can either from your own past experience or even better if you can work a past or current client into it use examples make it relatable you know this is the stuff that makes your videos engaging and interesting which in turn makes you and your business more memorable and ultimately the first one that they're going to think of working with when they decide they need what you've got so now let's talk about the best way to take advantage of the 2025 algorithm and all those homepage views that your videos can get the thing is YouTube isn't just looking uh to show people videos that get watched their main goal is actually to start binge sessions why well because it keeps people on the platform longer so if you can get people through your video and onto the next one you're sending YouTube The Ultimate signal that your content is very much worth promoting but here's what most people get wrong they start wrapping things up in the end right summarizing maybe even thanking people for watching big mistake big huge the second viewer sense an ending they're out gone probably for good here's what you do instead don't end your video at all yep you heard right instead of winding down ramp up transition smoothly into teasing your next video make it feel exciting like you're about to drop another knowledge bomb on them but then say something like this next part is so crucial I've made a whole video diving deeper into it so click right here to watch it next it's all about creating that just one more video feeling you know I can't tell you how many comments I get saying things like I can't stop watching your videos because you won't let me and that's exactly what we're going for but let's be real for a second you're not just here for views right you're actually trying to grow your business so every 4th video or so mix it up do a more direct call to action tell them about the amazing things you can do for them one-on-one invite them to book a call or consultation just remember though even when you're doing that don't make it feel like an ending it's not a conclusion it's the next step in their Journey with you but here's the thing all these algorithm hacks useless if you're not turning your views into paying clients so let's fix that right now so I've got a seven-step system that transforms YouTube views into a flood of high-paying clients no ads no expenses just pure
