Summary
I learned that the amount of time people stay on your webpage impacts your ranking on Google. Longer stays mean your content is likely valuable and useful to them.
When people quickly leave your page, Google sees that as a sign they didn't find what they were looking for, so it's essential to keep them engaged.
To engage visitors, I recommend using an effective hook to draw them in right from the start.
Additionally, I suggest using sub-hooks throughout your content to maintain their attention and interest, encouraging them to stay longer.
These engagement strategies are similar to what is used on platforms like Instagram, where engagement duration is a key factor for success.

How To Take Action
I suggest making your website or content more engaging to keep people around longer. This can help your rankings on Google. Start by creating a strong opening sentence or hook. This should catch people's attention right away and make them curious. If it's the first thing they see, they're more likely to stick around.
Another great idea is to add sub-hooks throughout your content. These are like mini-surprises or interesting facts that show up as someone reads or watches more. Sub-hooks keep people interested and motivated to continue exploring your content. It's a bit like reading a good book with lots of exciting moments that make you want to finish it.
Try to think of your favorite Instagram post that grabbed your attention. What made you stop scrolling? Use that same technique in your content. Remember, the more time people spend on your site or with your content, the better Google might rank it.
These strategies don't cost much but can make a big difference. All you need is some creativity and time to think of good hooks and sub-hooks. This way, you'll keep people on your page longer, making your content more valuable to them and more successful on search engines.
