How To Take Action
I would suggest using Instagram's new update to understand why your videos might not be doing well. Start by focusing on how long people are watching your videos. The longer people watch, the more Instagram will show your videos to others.
Check out the new feature in Instagram Analytics to see how many viewers stay for the first 3 seconds. A good way to keep viewers longer is by starting your video with a strong hook. This is really important. Try out different hooks and see which ones work best with both your followers and non-followers.
I recommend including two or three hooks in even a short, one-minute video to keep people interested. Use the data you gather to find out which hooks are working and which aren't. This way, you can make better videos that more people want to watch.
Since not many people are using this feature yet, you can get a big advantage over your competition by checking it regularly. Making small changes based on what you find can really help your videos perform better without spending a lot of time or money.
