Summary
I first sold a website for $600,000 through Investor Club and documented this in a YouTube case study. You can learn a lot from my experience.
You can sell websites mainly in two ways: through marketplace brokerages or manually and privately.
One popular brokerage is Empire Flippers. They have a massive database of eager buyers. Any website priced under $200,000 usually sells within weeks there.
I've sold about 10 websites through Empire Flippers and had a good experience.
Investor Club is another option. It's newer and smaller than Empire Flippers but charges sellers a smaller fee. I had a great experience selling my website there.
There's also FE International. I haven’t personally sold through them, but my friends have had positive experiences.
For manual sales, consider "strategic outreach" by emailing businesses that could benefit from your website, like approaching bodybuilding.com if you’re selling a fitness site.
Facebook groups can be good for selling too. Check out the Flipping Websites group run by Investor Club.
My group, the Affiliate SEO Mastermind, also sees a lot of website transactions. You might find your buyer there.

How To Take Action
I would suggest starting with the low-cost, high-value strategies for your website selling journey. First, get to know the basics by watching my YouTube case study on selling a website for $600,000. This will provide valuable insights and tips.
Next, explore selling your website through marketplace brokerages like Empire Flippers. They have lots of eager buyers, especially for websites under $200,000, and your site may sell quickly without taking much of your time. Alternatively, consider Investor Club. They charge a smaller fee and provide a personal experience.
If you prefer more involvement, consider manual selling methods. Strategic outreach is key. Identify businesses that could benefit from owning your site. If your site is about fitness, reach out to companies like Bodybuilding.com to gauge interest.
Facebook groups are also a wonderful resource. Join the Flipping Websites group by Investor Club and participate in discussions. You can also try selling your site there. Additionally, check out my Affiliate SEO Mastermind group where many website transactions occur.
Remember, learning from others who have been there can save you time and mistakes, so always seek stories and tips from experienced website sellers. This hands-on approach will build your confidence and expand your network in a cost-effective way.
