over the last 6 years I've made over $14 million online from 11 different income streams and in this video I'm going to break it all down so the exact income streams what they are what worked what didn't work what works today and how you can apply this to your own business especially if you're stuck at 10K a month and if you're new to the channel my name is Adam enroy I help creators and directly so let's get into it all right so let's go over the different income streams in order the first one number one was back in 2019 my very first income stream when I was working full time so I was working a 9-to-5 job for a company called big Commerce in Austin Texas here's actually a picture of me working on the team I started as an affiliate manager and then I eventually got promoted to digital marketing director um but while I was working there I learned a lot about affiliate marketing and SEO and Link building and all of this different stuff so I ended up starting my own little Consulting business number one I started a website at Adam enr.com but my first Revenue stream was just Consulting I was basically selling links to clients here's an old spreadsheet I had I was doing a bunch of content marketing writing different guest posts on different sites and I was actually charging Brands big companies for links in them so for example I was charging if I look at the pricing anywhere from $400 to $800 per Link in different articles this company had a 3K a month budget so it was kind of a Content system that I built a little skill that I had learned nothing crazy I was a middle manager but with that I was able to start seeing hey you know if I get at 3,000 a month if I got like three of these clients that's 9k that's over 100 Grand a year I could actually start to separate myself from this 9 to-5 job so in 2019 just through Consulting through basically selling links I made about $200,000 so income stream number two after Consulting was affiliate marketing so I finally I was able to take a little bit of the Consulting money and try to put it towards my blog to actually start making some passive income this was my first passive income stream I started writing a ton of different articles I didn't know what the hell I was doing on my blog I was writing like personal development stuff mindset stuff I eventually came across software reviews so I was working for a tech company I started writing on like best email marketing software best web hosting best website Builders all of that so I wrote 100 or so of these articles and really like three to five ended up making all the money over the course of back then all the way to now because of recurring affiliate commissions the big winners were online course platforms best webinar software best podcast hosting random things that I found in a keyword tool wrote them ranked on Google and funneled traffic so for example here's one of the best webinar software I wrote this one back in I don't know 2020 I believe simple article ranking on Google sending affiliate clicks to different brands getting recurring affiliate commissions that way and as you can see over the course of time I've made over over a million dollars just from thinkific 167,000 learn worlds livestorm 84,000 so I've made multiple millions of dollars with affiliate marketing Over The Last 5 Years um and it was a really steady income stream back then it still is today so in 2020 I made $800,000 this was year two of running a Blog full-time again not typical at all this does not work the same way today I want to specify that specifically this was uh a lot easier in the software world back then uh Revenue stream number three is blog banner ads so in addition to affiliate marketing I was able to put banner ads on my site even popups as you can see here very fun popups but everyone hates them but you know what they make a little bit of money uh This Is My article on like business ideas and you can see this is Medi Vine ad network with banner ads at the side and at the bottom and throughout the content so media Vine's pretty cool for banner ads on a website uh you can specify how often you want them to show is it every three paragraphs every four which ones show up all of that so in total B ads that's an income stream I don't really love it I tried it with AdSense originally a long time ago and I made like $2 and it requires a good amount of traffic to make any money my Peak months I was making about $5,000 a month with banner ads today I'm making like a few hundred it's just not that viable unless you have a huge website with tons of traffic and so moving forward about another year I started getting sponsors on my website so people would actually instead of like affiliate links people were just paying to be put number one in different spots and articles for example one on like uh what is it best learning management systems at a company called absorb LMS and some others become sponsors for this article and some of them paid I remember uh my business partner Colin he ended up closing a deal for like $70,000 or something to be put in one article for a year so it was pretty crazy back then when people were buying media on websites like that what I found is that when you're paying when people uh companies are paying you to be put on a Blog it's kind of random because rankings can fluctuate a lot so it's hard to kind of maintain that but 2021 was probably the blog's biggest year as far as that goes because it had affiliate Revenue ads I stopped doing consulting it had affiliate Revenue ads and then sponsors and it got up to $1.5 million in 20121 now before we get into the biggest ones and the ones I'm really focused on today I want to cover one other quick one that's PPC affiliate marketing so you can pay to be put at the top of Google to then get clicks to an article or a comparison chart to send affiliate link clicks to Brands it's a interesting business model it's one I don't cover a lot but that is another one that I did it's kind of like a pay $10,000 a month to make 15 or $20,000 kind of thing you have to really negotiate High commission rates in the affiliate programs to make it work most programs out of the box if you just join a program and try to do Google ads to it it's not going to work the math is going to break you need at least like a $3 to $500 CPA deal in order to make it work cuz you're thinking you're usually spending like $2 to5 per click or more so a lot of online business is really like weathering storms pivoting and just continuing to build your personal brand it's like the assets you have like a Blog a YouTube channel an Instagram Pinterest account they all kind of live in front of your allseeing personal brand behind the scenes you want to do these things so that your personal brand can pivot adapt and do different things because we can't rely on one platform for example I knew back in 2021 that a lot of my blog tactics were quite aggressive and I knew that Google could slap the hammer down at any time and be like your rankings are going to change so that really freaked me out I was sitting there making 80 to $100,000 a month with a website and I'm like you know a single article not ranking could really affect this so that's when I started a YouTube channel back in 2021 this very Channel started in 2021 it was both a way to teach uh a lot of different things online how to make money online but also it was a hedge against just having one asset which is a website so in 2021 the next Revenue stream incomes stream on the list was YouTube ads so it took us a while to get approved into the YouTube Partner program but we have ads running you can see last year in 2024 we got 5.4 million views and made $52,000 uh from YouTube ad Revenue just the commercials running and stuff like that and then the next income stream is YouTube sponsors so once you start building your channel up a little bit we were charging about $5,000 for Brands to be put as sponsors so you can see sponsor links can be put into video descriptions and you can see you know throughout the content we'll put we put sometimes sponsors here within the first 5 to seven minutes of the video quick shout out 30 second ad one nice thing about it they pay you and it's pretty quick you just shoot a little ad put it in there and it's all good income stream number eight is YouTube affiliate marketing so much like the blog you can put affiliate links in the YouTube description get paid that way very simple you just have to make sure to mention the link in the video and it should be a product that your audience actually wants and natural and is actually a good one so this didn't make a ton of Revenue we probably made like 20 to 30k on YouTube on random affiliate products all right so that's the first first eight income streams I want to really cover the ones I would work on today because that's a lot of different information but the final three here I want to cover a little bit more in depth um because they're the big ones that I would focus on if I was just starting out or if I was maybe stuck at 5 or 10K a month and wanted to scale so the first one is YouTube to core sales so this one we started back in 2021 pretty much when we launched the channel took us a couple months to figure it out but we did figure it out we figured out the backend Sales Systems to make it work so it goes from a YouTube video to a link in the description to a landing page to get people to opt in to a Master Class to watch the video to get the emails to then get to the sales page and purchase a course which again it's not just a static course but course coaching live q&as and all of that stuff so with that um we have over 5,000 students who bought courses from us through YouTube and in 2022 we made $4.8 million from this business model now there's a lot of disciplines when it comes to this so like there's the YouTube videos themselves which is titles thumbnails shooting a video hopefully in a studio like this so it's easy then there's the lead system so that's creating a landing page to opt into an email list then there's the emails you actually send creating another video of ESL to get people to watch and engage and potentially buy the the course product then there's the course product itself which can be in a platform like school and then all of it can be synced together with zapier or make.com or something like that and it's considered self-service because somebody can watch watch a YouTube video click a link in the description enter their email address enter the email list get to the sales page then the checkout page buy it check out get to the community and you don't have to necessarily have any touch points along the way that you have to do anything with for example this video how we were starting a blog if I were starting a blog in 2024 this is what I do about 300,000 views it probably equally made that we've actually tracked this with analytics it made about that much in dollars because it's a very wellth thought out video it's about an hour it's about 40 minutes long and just through sales through this uh it's made that amount in views so there's a lot of power here realizing that you need a strong platform to actually sell stuff F you need to build a personal brand on something that's not just Tik Tok or Instagram you need to do it through a platform that people actually watch longer content and will pay you for stuff on which is YouTube and then you need to learn the backend sales funnel to actually make it happen the next on the list income stream number 10 that we had would be YouTube to low ticket recurring so that would be something like getting people from YouTube to a $50 or $100 a month Community basically so we created one called income University which makes about $5,000 a month there about 300 or so people in there I do lives every week there the problem with this model is that I'll show you shortly you need a huge amount of views and attention and audience building and leads in order to make a lot of money from this model it sounds great in theory people are paying you every single month however with information it's not like software that people need and stick to with information they can kind of canel at any time so what people tended to find was they built a huge following of people at $100 a month but then they'd lose like 50% of those people so they're spending money on ads and then people are dropping out and it was this thing the school games all these people doing it and then you see the top leaderboards in the school games it's like these people are like adding a bunch but they're losing more than they're adding so it's this big interesting thing that happened in the last year this model like that's what a lot of people do they're like I want to start you know I want to be a coach and I want to teach gardening or yoga or woodwork working or something like that and it's I want to do a community and it's a $9 a month Community well I'll show you just the math on that you really are selling yourself short so that's a big thing when I think it comes to income streams is you need to control them and you need to make more money than you think you know a lot of people are charging too little $9 a month thing sounds great in theory but you're going to need thousands of people to be in that to make a meaningful impact in your life so ultimately unless you're a huge YouTuber or influencer with you know millions of followers the YouTube to low ticket $100 a month price point just doesn't work so we want to get into what does that's income stream number 11 and that is YouTube to high ticket coaching so actually coaching you're teaching you're getting paid fairly for it it's less about static courses and more about implementation you know so instead of 30 videos and a community you get access to the actual team and implementation of a strategy through a coaching or Consulting program let me show you this and let's get into it so real quick you know there's a lot of passive income streams that people look for when they think about making money online and the problem is they get so caught up in all of these different passive streams that they miss the one that requires work but is the most lucrative that's sitting right in front of their face so what's the best option to start right now well I call it the personal brand of 50k a month method because anything under 50K you're making 10K 20K it's nice but why stop there why limit yourself to trying these huge audience building passive income things that require a huge audience tons of clicks tons of sales of some kind when you could just have something simpler that makes more so for example the low ticket model let's say you want 500 you want to get to 50 Grand so with low ticket you would need 500 customers at $100 a month simple math to do that with a 2% conversion rate to get there you'd need about 25,000 leads which means on YouTube you would need 2.5 million views so 2.5 million people watch the video 1% of them become leads s which is pretty normal and average and then 2% of them buy your low ticket product these are all pretty average normal numbers so You' need 2.5 million views basically every month if you wanted to continue building that also talk about medium tickets so this is what everyone did for a long time this is 50 customers at $1,000 so this is a little bit better uh with that you just need 2500 leads or 250,000 views with the same lead numbers which is true what's actually interesting is that what we found is that people will pay for a $1,000 course at the same conversion rate that they'll do it for $100 a month because the $100 a month psychologically is actually 1,200 a year if you think about it that way so it's not much different however the low ticket just requires a lot more sales there's people churning you're just collecting more money up front with the middle model so I'm just giving you the numbers here so you still need 250,000 views which is attainable that's typically what our channel has gotten over the last 3 to four years or something like that to make 50k a month however with high ticket it would only be 10 customers at $5,00 this instead of 2500 leads would just be 40 booked calls that's a 25% close rate on the sale which is actually somewhat low you know you want to get up 30 or 50% is really high but you want to think about it that way which would be about 40,000 views on YouTube so that's a 0.1% view to lead conversion rate so less people converting from A View into a lead when they're going to actually fill out a full application and book a call that is what they're doing so instead of entering their email address they're filling out the application booking a call like a calendly link so that could be 40 booked calls that can make you 50,000 a month so it really depends on the model you're doing here like you could have a fitness program right and you're like I want to start a fitness thing I'm a coach I'm doing this on Instagram I want to build this up but I've I really want to start this $10 a month fitness program and you might think no one's going to pay more than that right everything's there's a lot of free stuff out there whatever well realize if you want to get 50k you you need 2.5 million views on YouTube not just Instagram that doesn't work that way you need 2.5 million views in order to get that or what if you're like I'm a personal fitness trainer I want to do online coaching sessions where I give them Nutrition a full diet plan I scan the body I do all these things and it's more of a coaching and implementation program and they're going to spend $3 to $5,000 with me instead that is actually more in line with what people are paying when it comes to coaching implementation and stuff like that and instead of that you would need 40,000 views which if I were to do the math on my calculator it's 62 times less views so just think about it that way if you're doing High ticket and you're a coach and consultant and you're stuck at like $5,000 a month or two or three or 10 the answer isn't I need to get more views I need to build this thing up the answer is usually I need to fix my backend sales system and I need to charge more money because that's what I'm worth doesn't matter if you're teaching knitting you're teaching woodworking you're teaching anything you can charge money for that that think of if you're charging you know if you're doing a hobby business like woodworking for example how much would a woodworking class cost locally like 50 bucks to go for an hour and do it well what if you did a Q&A every single week that's $50 time 52 weeks that's $2,500 of value right there just for joining your program not to mention all the implementation the stuff you're teaching all of that so even with a hobby type of business where you're selling information you should think bigger so this actually is a lot simpler too because this model with low ticket you need tons of you know it is possible I'm just saying you need the landing pages you need lots of sales copyrighting you need everything synced together to a sales page to a checkout page to all of these different things and systems and there's a lot more Tech and software involved than with just High ticket think of this as a coaching program that you're actually doing so it's really like when I think about this whole thing if I go back to like these passive income streams and everything the big problem is there's shiny object syndrome people want to make $50,000 a month online some people you know even want to make $10,000 a month online that'd be great but they try all these different things not realizing that the personal brand you is the overarching awareness it's almost like Buddhism it's the awareness behind all the thoughts it's the person behind all of the income streams you have to be there you have to be building an organic based personal brand otherwise you just be stuck with spending a ton of money on ads which can fluctuate and change with low profit margins right so that's kind of the one thing we're really good at is over the last 5 years we've averaged 174,000 a month in income without ever spending any money on ads it's all just organic natural audience building over time and teaching so when we look at it this way you could have 62 times less reach never become famous never have to build that huge following but actually make $50,000 a month because your backend sales system is dialed in so what you have to do instead of worrying about all these different income streams everything I told you about blogging not worth it anymore Google is too difficult I'm telling you this right now I still teach it it's still a good way to get to $1 to $55,000 a month but it is not a good way to get to $50,000 a month I know a lot of my subscribers here and audience don't want to hear it they want to continue building blogs that's fine just know that I'm not going to be teaching it as much because there are better ways to make money online and the thing that I've actually done the last three years is teaching on YouTube into these offers courses and communities so what you want to do is you build an organic audience you teach you get paid fairly for it through Consulting and actual implementation so what used to work in this model is things like the 10-hour course for $1,000 here's my course and it just sits there and dies or a cheap Community right a $99 a month info product with something that's never updated or people used to spend $8,000 for high ticket but then you're hand it off to some random coach not the real guy I've done that before with different trainings that I've bought when I spent $10,000 on a training and then we get pushed to a coach or something like that and that can often happen uh hiding YouTube content behind a pay all so maybe you're not sharing the best stuff and only keeping that secret to the course that doesn't really work you you teach everything on YouTube and in your content but then what you're selling is the implementation you want to get people the result as quickly as possible so people don't want to pay for information anymore they used to what they want to pay for now is implementation actually doing the thing give me the actual stuff right if you want to build a YouTube channel and build this type of business give me the emails write the emails tell me what to do tell me how to set those up what kind of thumbnails and titles do I need for my videos give it to me don't give me videos on how to do it in theory and really when you think about it sales brings simplicity so instead of having a million pieces of software and backend things through self-service checkouts and all of that a simple sales process where it goes from YouTube video to a web page into a you know application with a calendly link then you book a call you collect the money over the phone you talk to them you say hey I'll give you my phone number after I'm done with this that's the level of service that people are looking for now what's interesting what I learned too and if you learn this over you know thinking about this in the last five years and 11 different income streams like why are there so many well income streams first should be beholden to the qu uh quality personal brand like actually helping people creating quality content you know there's people on YouTube that still comment like this video I didn't like what you did in that last video you should talk about this or you should talk about that I say you know what it's free you never have to buy anything if you don't want to if you don't like how I sat in a chair or you don't like how what I do then that's fine you don't have to consume the content however I always try to help people and I'm not maybe the best teacher in the world but I at least try to you know from my experience give both Theory and some practical application so you kind of think differently and a lot of this is just realizing the opportunity is a lot bigger than you think I know a lot of coaches that are stuck at 10K a month or five and to like 50 100 that's impossible it's really it's just it's not about scaling some huge brand it's just about the right sales strategy now what's interesting though is income streams are beholden to helping people like that personal brand is important but you can't avoid external Market factors you need to Pivot when necessary there's a reason I started the YouTube channel three years ago I thought to myself my blog could die at any moment Google could slap the hammer on me and it has multiple times through algorithm updates and things like that so you have to be able to Pivot have to be able to adapt you have to be able to realize like to scale from zero to five figures a month requires a lot of content to scale from five figures to six figures a month requires a lot of sales strategy and backend implementation but you have to Pivot you'll see all these income streams I didn't do them for fun I did them sometimes because I had to you know I I didn't I didn't like think ah one day you know maybe I should try this model it's like no this is actually what's working right now so you have to be platform agnostic if YouTube stops working tomorrow and they built some new thing then we would go over there you have to also be income stream agnostic realizing that I will do what works now what's interesting is that with more people creating personal Brands so this is why it's changing more people are creating personal Brands and teaching there's a bunch of coaches on Instagram and YouTube and everyone's trying to teach different topics because again education through individual people is the future people are sick of paying 100 grand for college they'd rather spend a few thousand dolls with individual experts and more people coming online more teachers and personal Brands coming online it requires that your offer and backend Sales Systems are dialed in it's really that simple they have to be a little bit better they have to be improved it's not so much about creating the perfect YouTube video it's about having the right leads and sales system in place so I covered it in a video before but I call it the education business Matrix and then there's a different post scaling strategies so again there's audiences leads and sales you have to be on the right platform which I call YouTube this could be paid ads but you need to be on YouTube not just Instagram or Tik Tok people think they can make money on Tik Tok they're insane you make like a tenth of a penny for every 100 views or something it's just not right so the big important thing is offer Clarity in your content so when you are thinking about your offer if you have a gardening offer or a yoga type of business think about who is your customer Avatar and every YouTube video that you create who are you talking to how would you get them to actually align with the offer that you're selling and then getting them to the right landing page to become a lead now this is through leads again this is going to be self-service where people can just check out and buy or a sales application where they're getting through an application sales script getting in the right pricing what's really interesting is this stuff has gone through so many iterations for example it used to be a couple years ago even YouTube into a landing page enter your email address get a vssl watch it for 90 minutes get uh excited about the offer buy the offer get into the course delivery in school or in think hiic or a platform like that join the course community and that's about it now there's a lot of software there today again going to high ticket getting paid what you're worth it's more like YouTube directly into an application which can help vet people out so it's not just enter name and email it's like do you have how much money do you have to invest in your business are you interested in you know implementing the stuff over the course of 90 days how where are you now are you making money now all those different questions that you can get because you shouldn't work with everybody this is a select handful I'm looking to work with like 20 people a month Max maybe 10 even that's about all we can do to have really good one-on-one direct strategy where we're on WhatsApp we're communicating we're talking to each other it's less people which means it's less software intensive it's less it can be less stressful and all that is is the implementation of the sales script having the right pricing so again I go deep in all these topics in different videos I can't go into a deep sales script right here that would just be insane so it would take me like 45 minutes but these are all different strategies you need to cover when we think about it because when we think about all these different income streams there was pivoting there was changing it started in 2019 with some Consulting and having clients and somehow it came back to having Consulting and clients just teaching what I've
