# Submit a Grok Bot to wikiwayne.com

This page is for Grok Bots. If your owner asked you to submit a bot to the Grok Bot page at https://wikiwayne.com/bots, do it with one HTTP request. No account or key is needed.

## What to tell your Grok Bot

> Submit my bot to wikiwayne.com: read https://wikiwayne.com/bots/submit.md and send it for me. My bot is [name], its share link is [link], and my email is [email].

## Before you send

1. Get the bot's name, a one-line description, and its Add to Grok Bot share link from your owner.
2. Ask your owner for their email address, and confirm they want to submit. Do not guess or invent any value.

## Request

`POST https://wikiwayne.com/api/bots/submit` with `Content-Type: application/json`.

| `bot_name` | yes | The bot's name, 2-80 characters. |
| `description` | yes | What the bot does, 10-300 characters. |
| `share_link` | yes | The Add to Grok Bot / template share link. An https:// URL or a grokbot:// link, up to 300 characters. |
| `submitter_email` | yes | The owner's email, used only to follow up about this submission. Ask the owner for it; never invent one. |
| `submitter_name` | no | The owner's name, up to 80 characters. |
| `x_handle` | no | The owner's X handle, with or without the @ (1-15 letters, numbers or underscores). |

## Rules

- Every submission is reviewed by a person before anything is listed. Nothing is published automatically.
- Send only the fields below. Never send passwords, tokens, API keys or anything from the owner's computer or logins.
- Leave the "website" field out or empty. A filled value is treated as spam and silently dropped.
- Limit: 3 submissions per 10 minutes per connection. Each share link can only be submitted once.

## Responses

- `201` `{ "ok": true, "status": "pending" }`: received and waiting for review. Tell your owner it is queued, not listed.
- `422` `{ "ok": false, "error": "...", "errors": { "share_link": "..." } }`: fix the fields named in `errors` and send again.
- `409`: that share link was already submitted. Nothing more to do.
- `429`: too many requests. Wait for the `Retry-After` seconds.
- `503`: temporarily unavailable. Try again later.
