7 Best Online Businesses to Start in 2025 (1M+Year with AI)

Summary

  • Selling your own informational product or community is a great way to make money online. It's like teaching and building a community, which can generate significant income without the worries of inventory or shipping. Aim for high-value teachings to justify pricing models that can lead to millions annually.

  • Building a broad skill set is essential. The more you know about marketing and sales, the more revenue potential you unlock. Using platforms that offer comprehensive hosting and marketing solutions can streamline your efforts.

  • Affiliate marketing is a good choice if you don’t have an audience yet. Creating content now can build that audience, and affiliate marketing can be more profitable than ads. You can blog, use YouTube, or leverage PPC advertising, focusing on product-centric content that encourages clicks and conversions.

  • For bloggers, creating "best product" categories rather than purely informational ones can enhance affiliate revenue. This approach, which capitalizes on Google's popularity, becomes a numbers game—injecting affiliate links into well-trafficked topics.

  • YouTube is a powerful affiliate platform through which strategic usage of descriptions can funnel income. Creating concise, informative videos in popular niches can direct viewers to product links in the description.

  • PPC advertising offers a path to affiliate marketing by paying to place affiliate-backed links at the top of search queries. This method requires negotiating higher commissions to remain profitable, given the costs associated with each click.

  • Short-form videos like TikToks or reels can be another avenue for affiliate marketing, although it often involves more friction in platforms like Instagram compared to integrated options like TikTok shop.

  • Creating a faceless YouTube Channel is an option for those not wanting to be on camera. Using AI and stock elements in video offerings can help in creating content, though the downside includes potentially high production demands and a reliance on ad revenue and sponsorships for income.

  • E-commerce, including Drop Shipping and platforms like Amazon or Etsy, demands broad skills in inventory management, marketing, and customer service. This model doesn't offer as much branding control or passive income as affiliate marketing—though it can become highly profitable with effective ad strategies and niche marketing.

  • Software development, especially leveraging AI, holds the potential for high valuations due to the recurring revenue model. However, it requires technical capabilities, strategic marketing, and comprehensive operational knowledge, which can be demanding but exceedingly rewarding in the long term.

  • Think outside the box with podcasting by focusing on video platforms like YouTube for audience growth, using this content in diversified formats to maximize reach and engagement. Consistent, creative Repurposing can expand your content output exponentially.

  • Starting an AI agency can offer immediate income by selling digital services. This model is scalable with strong demand but requires active management and can be less passive compared to other business models.

  • If you want significant financial growth in online business, consider creating educational content on YouTube and podcasts, then funneling that audience into a subscription-based community model. This combines content marketing strategies with recurring revenue opportunities, setting a pathway towards high valuations.

How To Take Action

Action Plan for Personal Growth and Business Success

Start Small with Information Products

I would recommend creating an informational product to sell online. This could be a course or part of a community where you teach something you’re good at. It's low-cost since you don't need to worry about shipping or inventory. You can offer high-value lessons to justify a solid price. Aim to have an online platform that hosts your course, manages marketing, and collects payments easily.

Build a Skill Set in Marketing

A good way of expanding your capabilities is by learning more about marketing and sales. Increase your knowledge using online free or low-cost resources. This will help boost your revenue potential. You don’t need to spend a lot; just consistent learning will help.

Dive into Affiliate Marketing

If you're new and don't yet have an audience, affiliate marketing can be a solid start. Try creating content now on YouTube or a blog about products or services you like. Focus on making content that gets clicks and sells, like using best product reviews or tutorials.

Use YouTube for Growth

YouTube is a great place to promote affiliate products and grow your audience. Create videos in popular niches and include affiliate links in the description. This can easily lead to income as viewers click through.

Consider a Faceless Channel

If being on camera isn’t your thing, you can start a faceless YouTube channel. Use AI and stock elements to make interesting content without showing your face. This way, you can share valuable content without the need for a high production effort initially.

Small Steps in E-commerce

If interested in selling physical products, try drop shipping, where you don’t handle the products directly. Use platforms like Etsy for handmade goods. Learn about marketing and handle customer queries effectively to build your brand.

Stay consistent with your efforts, and always look for learning opportunities to improve your skills further.

in this video I'm covering the top seven very best online business ideas if you're starting from zero right now you want to make money in 2025 you haven't yet I'm going to cover it all so we're going to cover what is and isn't working with a lot of new AI stuff when it comes to strategies like selling your own products podcasting YouTube blogging e-commerce all the ways that you can make money online so by the end you'll know what the best option is as I'm going to actually be combining two into the best way to scale an online business in a way where you're doing it on the side of a job and you can build a big business in 2025 let's get into it number one on the list is going to be selling your own product so this is a course and a community so an informational product so you're teaching something and you're selling high quality information so we're going to get to like selling physical products uh in the future but we're talking informational products here and this is kind of the Holy Grail of what people are doing right now with things like the school games and building communities and having really high value lessons and teaching and building communities and courses and things like that so uh you don't you know you get to control the product completely but you don't have to worry about like inventory shipping and all of those things that you do with traditional e-commerce now the math on becoming a millionaire and making a lot of money with an online business if you want to make a million dollar a year that's $83,000 a month which theoretically could be like 2.7 sales of a $1,000 product each day so you're making two to three sales a day on an informational course Community product that could be a million dollars a year or that could just be 80 uh 830 people paying you $100 a month so a lot of it's moving towards the recurring model right so building that so really you need a platform to do it all so it's kind of like you need to build an audience you need to do marketing host your course have a website collect emails do the checkout do all of those things now there's a reason a lot of people don't do this it's because they want the most passive income things like affiliate marketing or ads things that people are just clicking on and you're magically making money well those things can still work a little bit but they're getting a little bit more difficult to make like a million dollars a year with so with a course with a community you're teaching you're creating video content you're putting yourself out there on the platforms you're teaching stuff and then your really high valued instruction is behind a pay wall and people pay you for that so you need basically the one platform to do it all so you need a website your you know video content that you're hosting so of course it's really just like hosting 10 20 30 or more hours of video content on a single website that people can log in and see it's kind of the democratization of Education right a lot of colleges are really expensive people are really feeling in the gaps with highly effective courses and communities where people are paying $10 a month $50 a month up to thousands of dollars a month some people are paying for uh really high value communities if you want to get started with this route I have full videos on this topic I can't get into every detail in this one about building email lists getting people in the backend sales funnels what should the Comm uh the course be about the transformation the lead magnets all of that there's a lot of marketing that a lot of these things entail the more marketing and sales that you need to learn the more money that you're probably going to make so the easy stuff you know doing online business like a Fiverr thing or something that just doesn't require that much skill that anyone can do is going to limit your Revenue ceiling in any of these business ideas so the one we're talking about here creating selling a course a community yes it requires marketing email marketing creating video content doing all of those things but it's it's uh probably the best way right now I would say to build a sustainable personal brand business and make a million dollars a year so the number one tool that you need here is just one that does it all so like a website hosting the videos creating content doing the marketing for you and for me that's thinkific so I've used thinkific it's a great online course tool you can build your website WordPress site all of it if you click the link in the description below I put my special link in there you'll get a 30-day free trial so you can just try it out for 30 days if you don't like it it's not for you but super easy to create a website sell products on it and this is the number one option on this video because again you can make millions of dollars selling information if it's high quality and you're not shipping or worrying about inventory and all of that now with any of these strategies you need to build an audience right if we're going to sell our own products we need an audience so what's another way that we can make some money well that brings us to number two on the list and that is affiliate marketing using AI so that's number two and really when we think about it if we don't have an audience to sell a product to yet we can start creating content putting it out in the world to build that audience and the number one way to monetize like new content for me is affiliate marketing because with affiliate marketing you just get people to click on other people's products and you make a commission on every sale now with that it's very passive over time right you have to create these assets to rank on Google or to get YouTube views and then you eventually funnel people into to make affiliate commissions but it can help your initial content strategy it makes a lot more money than ads do like banner ads just sitting on a website or even the YouTube Partner program like making ad revenue on YouTube it can be five times 10 times or 100 times less money per visitor than you get with affiliate marketing if you're in the right programs so it's a full strategy I've got a two and a half hour video on affiliate marketing the ins and outs of it so uh you can check that one out so really you're just getting people to click on links and buy stuff it's really that simple and there's four uh main ways to do this blogging YouTube PPC and then Tik Tock and short so first is blogging and with blogging it's how I made a million dollars three years in a row with recurring affiliate programs in software category so here's an example article the 25 best webinar software and this one ranked for four three years 3 or four years for webinar software probably made me $300,000 over the course of that time but you can see these are affiliate links so this is an affiliate link right here number one two there's like three or four for each company with a button and then you go to the next company so the benefits of blogging for affiliate marketing is it's a Google driven engine it's the Google being the number one platform for affiliate marketing people make the most money through affiliate marketing on Google very simple articles transactional content based on a product category so for example this article is best webinar software best plus the keyword is a lot better for affiliate Revenue than something like how to use webinar software or what is a webinar right so those are informational articles which don't really lead to affiliate Revenue they can lead to add revenue and building your email list but when it comes to blogging you're going to use the best product category post you're going to put affiliate links in there and you're just going to rank on Google and it's a numbers game the second biggest way to make money with affiliate marketing is YouTube so YouTube you add affiliate links into the description of the video now what's interesting about YouTube is you can do a couple different types of videos that make affiliate Revenue number one is a similar to the blog post best product Roundup so something like this from Charlie Chang the best travel credit cards of 2024 he's got affiliate links right here click out these travel credit cards and you can see the YouTube description is really like a big monetization box you can put all kinds of stuff in here he's got his social media links his free side hustle courses more affiliate links for things like website building savings accounts credit cards so there's really a clear format there where you have the top option right if you have a video on the best travel credit cards you could have like number one is this two and three and just put the top like three in the YouTube description if you want to keep it simple now if you think about another video like what if you had a video you're you're a totally different Niche like let's say you want to teach people how to build a backyard patio or something like that in it's DIY video If you find those on YouTube what you see for affiliate marketing is that there are tons of different product links because if someone's watching a video on how to build a patio we don't really know exactly what they want they didn't search YouTube for best framing nailer or the actual product itself where you're reviewing the products they might own one or they might not even have a tape measur that they need right so a lot of those DIY videos You'll see there's like 10 different products everything from tape measure Hammer framing nail whatever those possible products are like a gardening YouTuber if you have a a video on how to plant strawberries the actual affiliate links are going to be for raised garden beds and garden tools and all the things that potentially people might need so YouTube number two best way to make affiliate Revenue because people actually do really click affiliate links in YouTube descriptions tons billions of people on YouTube only second behind Google for affiliate marketing third best way for affiliate marketing is PPC so pay-per-click advertising so this is bidding on Google keywords to be put at the top of Google getting people to click your actual post getting them to a comparison chart and then getting them to click your affiliate link so I just put in like best web hosting here you can see there's cyber news has one top 10 hosting sites I'm going to go to some other examples here too if you go to page two so ads can show up on the first you know all the different pages I'm going to do like God daddy so you're going to see companies that are bidding so the only thing you see here is sponsored on Google Microsoft like Bings even harder to see it's just a tiny little thing that says ad which is kind of nice if you're running the ads but you can see something like this like cybernews decom this is a standard comparison chart format for affiliate marketing so because it's a comparison chart it's you're paying to be put on Google you don't need a Long blog post you're not trying to rank with SEO you're creating a simple comparison chart optimized for clicks so this is a huge business model I actually uh when I was an affiliate manager I worked with a huge PPC affiliate and they they were making hundreds of thousands of dollars a month in Revenue but it's really simple you just have your company here a little bit of room for a few bullet points and then the affiliate links that you click so that's another strategy now the the strategy here is you have to have an Roi and a lot of the times with affiliate marketing on PPC you need to negotiate a higher commission rate because the math will break if you don't for example if I was making say $50 every time Wick somebody bought Wix well they could you know maybe one out of 50 people that click on my ad will actually buy Wicks and those clicks could cost me a say $5 a click so all of a sudden I've spent $250 and I've only made 50 so that math will break immediately the math that would make sense is more like a $300 to $400 cost per acquisition for Wix so if they paid me $400 and I spent $250 to acquire a customer then I'm making $150 for every sale on average so the benefits of PPC are that it's very passive once it's set up if you can optimize an AdWords account which I have another video on that topic if you search my channel for it if you can optimize an AdWords account and you get it it takes about a month to optimize it I've done this before create a new account you add your keywords in you add your ads and then your location targeting so maybe it's the United States maybe it's you know if it's English it's usually US Canada Great Britain or the UK Australia maybe New Zealand Ireland sometimes but really just like if you're in the US you focus on the US and then you start optimizing the keywords maybe the keywords aren't right so start adding negative keywords because a lot of the time irrelevant searches will happen then over the course of the month you add more negative keywords remove the keywords that aren't converting so you can see conversions in your account how many conversions are you tributed and I'm like if I can spend $250 to make 400 I'm going to do that the the ROI isn't 2 to one I'm not doubling my money but it's like 1.5 1.6 and that is quite common with PPC when you do searches in PPC affiliate marketing you're going to see big Brands like Forbes CNN is running PPC for a lot of these things and they're probably making a return on investment of like 1.2 or 1.1 sometimes or they've just negotiated a super high commission rate for example just to see how much more you can make if you run PPC if you're an affiliate and you want to make more money you start doing PPC because affiliate managers are more likely to pay you higher commissions typically if you're doing that because you're throwing skin in the game you're putting money in so they know you can get a much higher commission rate that way so the pros of it are it's scalable it's just really hard to find that first category that works for you and you're risking your own money which is why I don't typically recommend that at the beginning fourth way to make money with affiliate marketing is through shorts so like Tik Tock Instagram Tik Tock shop and those types of platforms so I would say if you're doing short videos Tik Tok shop is the way to do it Instagram is not good for affiliate marketing think about the friction it takes so for example you post something about a product on Instagram somebody has to scroll find it see the image or video then read the caption to click your bio get to your bio then click a link in your bio that opens up maybe a link tree thing or if you're linking to a product directly then you have to click the product link then they finally get to the product page then they can check out and buy it so affiliate marketing there's a lot of friction on Instagram it takes like six clicks seven clicks with Tik Tock shop you can see a lot of creators are doing that and there's a tool like Halo data which shows you the top products so you can see like in all kinds of different categories you you can see like home Apothecary thing exercise machine a neck massager how much uh Revenue it's generating what the top and most viewed videos are for it and you can see like people are really posting a lot of videos on Tik Tok recommending these products linking right to Tik Tok shop so that's you know if you like having your phone out and you shoot stuff and you want to review products and do it that way Tik Tok shop affiliate is a faster easier route than going down this really really longterm strategy of Google affiliate marketing which can still work a quick fast throw money at it example of PPC or a video intensive you know uh YouTube channel now if you really are interested in getting started with affiliate marketing I recommend that you click the link in the description below put your email in and then I'll send you my 10 favorite AI prompts so these are all things that will help you create an affiliate content strategy including this one which is the AI affiliate marketing planner so I took this I copied this whole thing into Claude AI you can do it in the chat gpt2 I'm just showing this and what it'll do is it'll guide you through this process it's going to create affiliate articles for you so you provide a subnet so what's what sub Niche or like Niche would you like to explore I'm going to say something like power tools maybe you're a handyman or woman and you have a lot of power tools so for example it's giving you a ton of different articles that you could write with the target keywords automatically so things like there's a ton when you when you really think about affiliate marketing there's just so many freaking products and keywords out there that you would never even think of cordless hammer drills cordless Sanders portable work lights compact nail guns battery powered angle grinders most affordable cordless drill under $100 so many different oscillating multi-tools you could create hundreds and hundreds of different products right related to power tools so you create the product this gives you a strategic guidance on prioritizing and what to write and really how to do everything so then it says would you like me to elaborate on any of these strategies per perform more detailed guidance you can do all of that and then also there's full other AI prompts in there if you click the link in the description that give you like it'll write the whole article for you it'll write each paragraph for you it'll outline stuff so that's really where AI can come in it can help with the content strategy the brainstorming of the ideas and helping you create all of the content whether it's a blog post a YouTube video you know social media content AI is really going to speed up this whole process for you so again click that link in the description you can get all those resources plus an AI Master Class where I cover a bunch of stuff over the course of 60 or 90 minutes or so so I went a little long-winded with affiliate marketing but I get excited about it you know it's I've done it for so many years now I really like it so let's move on to the next one and that is number three on the list of online business ideas and that is a faceless YouTube channel so when we think about media production when we think about AI tools it really started with chat GPT and these tools like Jasper and writing tools but it's really accelerating into images and video content which is getting smarter and smarter with things like Sora now why would you create a faceless YouTube channel well one some people just don't want to be on YouTube and that's totally understandable you don't want to put yourself out there I was like that at the beginning myself I'm like there's no way I'm doing YouTube I was the guy that always wanted to be behind the scenes when I was 13 I did like since I was 13 I've done video editing and I love the editing process I never wanted to be in front of the camera however if you're introverted and you want to do YouTube this is a good way to do it AI is making it easier to create high quality content and just platforms are getting better so like you could go to motion array.c and get a ton of like graphics and after effects templates and things like that and you go to invat get a ton of b-roll and you it's easier and easier to compile b-roll footage Graphics all of that than ever before what's really cool about YouTube is like you just can go down rabbit holes of topics like you know you think of cable and tv and they cover a number of different topics but then you go to YouTube and they go deep on very interesting topics so if you go to like you know something like this that I've watched is like epic history they have like the Napoleonic Wars 18 4 to 1814 right so 5 hours of this but they're really doing intense really good graphics right so what if we can't do something like that like okay so this is really intense I mean I creating a 5H hour video like this probably took them weeks if not months because of the amount of footage that you need the text all the editing the graphics all the stuff right so that's where documentaries are heading is you can go really deep you can create a full you know production house for YouTube building these really intense high quality High you know documentaries on any topic that you want just know that sometimes the expectation of the quality is pretty high so if what people teach people that teach faceless YouTube they teach you to create these very simple AI based things so it's like use chat GPT to come up with the entire script I I would recommend you edit the script a little bit yourself to make it your own and then you do a voiceover so the voice over can be you or it can be an AI voice you can use descript to just talk to the microphone and then it can take your voice and do it that way and then you need to just compile the b-roll in the footage that's really all it is so a simpler example is that people teach is like stoicism Channel or something on motivation where the video is like this it's really just a lot of image Clips with like after effects or just different screen effects and then text on the screen this is a lot simpler than that huge War documentary it's just images compiled even AI images a lot of them with a text on the screen that honestly be done with just the script and some of these video editing tools too and you know it is what it is this one was uploaded a couple days ago it's got 4.9k views but these are easier to create so really it's a voiceover it's interesting content and then it's stuff on the screen so what's cool about this is you don't have to be on camera however you're kind of limiting your Revenue potential in a lot of ways because a lot of these documentary style channels they're not selling courses communities things that can make a lot of money they're more like just making maybe having a sponsor if they're lucky and then add Revenue so they need millions of views to get this going and also if you're really creating in-depth content like this it might take you a month to create a really good video so it's slowing you down and it's limiting your Revenue potential doing it this way so what I would recommend if you're going to go faceless do it in a tutorial based format maybe you can teach how to use AI software or how to use after effects or photoshop or some of these tools where maybe your head is in the corner maybe it's not but you're teaching stuff and then for further information training you can get people and get their email address get into your programs and things like that so the pros of this are you don't have to be on camera you can create any type of content you want it's easy with AI to do this really the only con that I can think of is just the amount of footage that you need when you think about a even a 10minute video when you put it into a timeline and you're editing that video that is 60 seconds time 10 it's all of a sudden a 10-minute video is 600 seconds of content if I'm just talking for 10 minutes all I do would maybe trim the end trim the beginning trim where I mess up the video is done if I have 10 minutes where I need to have footage and b-roll and graphics and text now all of a sudden that's 600 seconds in a timeline it looks like forever so it's a lot more the more faceless you go the more editing is required that's the only downside all right let's get into number four on this list of online business ideas and that is of course Ecommerce and Drop Shipping so this is a really interesting angle there's Amazon FBA there's Drop Shipping where you're not shipping your own products they're in an inventory and drop shipper is shipping them for you and there's lots of different angles here now my first thought when it comes to e-commerce is there's a lot of different like skills that you need for this you need to know how to build a website have products on that website you need to know marketing and that includes advertising so you have to actually advertise products whether it's Facebook ads you know meta ads uh you need to know email marketing you need to know customer service you need to know all of marketing basically plus invent and fulfillment and all of that for e-commerce it's kind of like you need for a course you need to know the entire back end the entire way to sell it the entire checkout process how to build a course how to upload it all that so there's a lot of information involved when it comes to e-commerce I realized that when I when I tried this back in 2015 I wanted to do a drop shipping site just to learn it and I did it I built an entire site on Shopify I hooked up inventory source which is a really cool Drop Shipping supplier so I didn't want to get like Ali Express products from China I can't 3 we shipping on my products I wanted to find like us manufacturers to uh have products that I could sell for retail prices and inventory source does this it can hook up any website so I had a Shopify site and it hooks it up to different suppliers which they have a full directory here um which you that's how you kind of get started with inventory Source they have 6,500 wholesalers that you can buy from with all kinds of different products and what it does it's really easy it just syncs it to Shopify so if DNH whatever that is has 10 products that you have on your site it auto updates so if inventory is out your site will say out of stock right if there's two left it'll it works automatically in that way and they'll ship they'll do all that so it's great in theory the only downsides really of this approach are that when you're Drop Shipping you can't really stand out from a branding standpoint because you're feeling you know you're just a retailer you're just another retailer that is selling selling products that another manufacturer creates so I tried this with like Outdoor Products so really cool stuff like truck tents and like tailgating gear and I had this like brand around that kind of thing I thought it was really cool outdoor projector screen things and just like tailgating Outdoor Adventure stuff but what I realized is like I started I did some Google shopping ads on it I threw uh this truck tent I put on Google shopping and I looked at the Google shopping results and like yeah I was in there people could find it they can click on it but who was next to me well there was like Walmart Target Dick Sporting Goods and all these huge retailers like oh I see so with Drop Shipping it's hard to stand out because you're not creating your own product you are a retailer selling someone else's product so you need you can do really good branding you can trick The Branding with Drop Shipping you can ask the manufacturer hey can I drop a custom sheet into every package that you send with my branding with all of that you don't really control the unboxing experience but there are ways around it where you can put you know little things in there to help with the unboxing experience and your branding so if it's a manufactured tent that you didn't create another brand did you can still have some of your branding elements in there however none of this really matters the main thing that's tough about this is that just like any other business you need an audience you can't just sell products automatically it doesn't work that way you have to run highly effective ads on Instagram retargeting remarketing email marketing and doing all of that stuff while also making sure customers are happy so it's one step harder to me than affiliate marketing because with affiliate marketing you're not you don't have to worry about the product once it once someone buys it it's like it's not even you you're just getting you're like a salesperson getting commissions with Drop Shipping your brand is at risk if the experience isn't that good and you don't have full control over the experience you might have a little sheet that you put in there but you can't control the shipping the logistics how quick the wholesaler is and there's this communication you say oh Drop Shipping is easy because you know I don't have to do the shipping but you still will have to answer questions on that process it's an interesting business model for sure it's just again you create the site you do this stuff you need to Market and advertise it you know that can be Tri tricky so another way to do this is you know Amazon FBA or Etsy so Etsy is really good for e-commerce if you're creating handmade products so I have bought a bunch of stuff on Etsy randomly it's great for gifts and like I bought this really cool Lord of the Rings saour on hand I put this in my library at the house and it's 3D printed so there's you know this uh person here freaky Forge I've bought a couple different things from this one but Etsy you can be found on here if you're creating small products 3D printing things this is a great way to sell it handmade products you can get found on Etsy you can advertise you can boost your categories in Etsy you can do coupon shipping all of it so handmade 100% do it on Etsy if you want to create your own own single product do it on Shopify add it on Amazon if you want to only do Drop Shipping you need like a lot of potentially a number of different products and you need really good branding all right let's get to number five on the list and that is AI software so software is a really interesting one software well why software well it's the biggest valuations sometimes you can make like if you want to value a company and get your software company bought and sell it to somebody you could get six years of Revenue multiple you can get six to eight if it's doing well usually three to five if it's like new and kind of risky six to eight times annual revenue if you're doing well so if you have for example think about this if you have a th000 customers paying you $50 a month that's $550,000 a month well that business could be valued at $3.6 million or think bigger if you have $10,000 customers paying you $50 a month and then we multiply that out by 12 and then by six now we're talking $36 million business so Mr monthly recurring revenue is the name of the game everyone a lot of people don't like subscriptions you know spending everything's becoming a subscription you want printer Inc got to pay for it monthly join our popcorn subscription and get popcorn shipped to your door and just put it in a pile somewhere or you know courses communities our monthly subscriptions and everything's a monthly subscription well one because people are used to it two because it's better to get kind of like it's better to give people a good deal and they're paying monthly rather than taking onetime payment that's bigger but also it's predictable it's stable it's the best type of business model that you can run is recurring and it's that's why I made so much money with affiliate marketing because of recurring affiliate programs I didn't sell a bunch of shoes through Amazon and then all of the sudden the traffic dries up and it goes away I sold a bunch of software where I still get commissions on customers that still exist however with AI software again if you want a software company you grow it to a certain amount you sell it you are a 8 figureure to nine figure potential millionaire that's really if you think about the great business ideas of our time and you think about how do I become a billionaire how do I become the biggest business person a business Titan out there it's not fair like Vanderbilt and Rockefeller they had like the steel trains and railroads and oil that everyone's already taken what's the next Frontier well it's been software for a long time now and it still is in this world of AI there's going to be new opportunities and things like that but if you want big business valuations it's Ai and it's software so you create a simple small tool you start selling it now the problem with this one is you need to kind of be a developer even though AI software can get us pretty far and it can code for us and do all of this stuff it's not going to build an entire tool for you this is based on on building a minimum viable product it's based on solving an actual problem and giving people a good tool to do it so you would hire a developer use AI to build a product a minimum viable product you know have a buddy maybe you have a developer buddy you build this thing have two people start a you know a startup then you Market the tool in multiple ways so you can beta test it for free throw it in Reddit forms communities but then you need an actual marketing strategy if you want to start growing so that is a website that is paid ads that's influencer marketing affiliate marketing it's uh hiring a customer success manager to make sure people are actually happy developing a product road map and a knowledge-based documentation so that you have it there's little things that you have to do when you're starting this pros and cons potentially is the most lucrative thing out there if you want the highest valuation for a company it's based on monthly recurring revenue and valuations for growing you know a growing company with a customer base that's being paid Mr is going to be valued pretty high it does also though take the most all-around skill so development work product marketing marketing and sales customer success Business Development all of those different things could potentially be in the cards because over time like if you really want to scale a software company you'd start it as a b Toc small consumer product maybe it's 10 20 $30 a month but you also need that Enterprise component where now you're having 200 300 500 ,000 $5,000 a month use case now again this is really complicated we're not going to build it to that level one interesting person that does this is Peter levels though he's done it with basically I think he's tried I don't know how many different products if it's if it's like 40 or 50 or if it's 100 I'm not totally sure but he has this many successful Mr producing products so he's got photo AI the main one that's making him 120k a month according to this and he's got one for 38 interior Ai 38k 37k and you can see these are mainly he's he is a developer he knows what he's doing but they're very simple AI based software tools and you can see they look similar it's the exact same thing he's copying pasting the actual design of the site and he's using it in different use cases so again AI it's we're going to see and it might be him it might be somebody else we're going to see the single person software company that is valued at a billion dollars that is my estimate in the next 5 to 10 years we're going to see a single person software company that's valued at a billion dollars maybe two people okay maybe two or three but uh really all you're doing is customer support so again it's potentially the most lucrative it takes the most all-around skill hugest valuation potential potential but you're going to be dealing with a lot of issues customers churning building a product road map customer support it can be hard to scale without building a big audience in the infrastructure and potentially getting funding in the future so I want you to just think bigger when it comes to this stuff a lot of people think 10K a month is like the Holy Grail it's really not 100K a month is nice and think bigger think a million a month what are these types of business models models that can actually get me there because you want to have the highest leverage vehicle possible for example my mom runs a salon she owns a salon which is awesome she has a business partner she does really well now with the salon business model though you need if you want to make like you know you can cap yourself out at $50 to $100,000 a year potentially but if you want to make a million dollar a year you would need 10 salons so that's just the vehicle right if you want to make money with a pizza restaurant you probably need 10 of them to make a substantial income like the franchise model the same thing is true of online business if you want to create a tiny thing where you're just doing things on Tik Tok to sell a few products and making like 20 bucks then that's cool but you can also just think longer term expand your timeline a little bit and realize this might take me 2 three years I want to find success you need to pick things that you're not going to fail at which I think is why I really like number one on the list online courses and communities because you're creating a personal brand similar to what I've created around myself to just teach stuff in any Niche and you never have to worry about putting a bunch of work in and quitting because you are the only Niche that you won't quit so let's get to number six on the list and that is podcasting yes podcasting so but it's not podcasting how you would think it's really I'm talking about kind of one of the best ways to scale content in 2025 and Beyond so when I think of a podcast it's like what what comes to mind right you might think about uh podcast that you listen to true crime podcast or something like that or NPR or Joe Rogan or something like that it's like okay but also where do most people consume podcast so there's Spotify there's the Apple podcast app a lot of it though is YouTube that's where I consume all the podcasts that I listen to and watch it's actually videos on YouTube that are also streamed to Spotify and all the other major platforms now what's interesting about this model is I want to put it on its head a little bit and make you think differently about it so publishing a podcast format on YouTube that is repurposed is the number one way to scale content in 2025 and Beyond think of it this way let's do an example let's say you sit down on a Monday and you shoot a two-hour podcast now within that podcast let's say I started a podcast and it's about AI businesses okay now within that podcast what is the podcast well if it's two hours I have a lot of time to talk I probably have at least let's say five segments so what are those five segments well each one can be interesting in its own right it could be about uh a certain person like maybe it's Peter levels I talk about how Peter levels built uh these big businesses with AI That's segment one segment two could be about maybe how I've used Ai and a Content strategy and you have five segments now what's interesting about this is that a single 2hour talk even a one-h hour podcast could turn into a shitload of content what I mean by that you know very scientific term is you could turn a 1 to two hour podcast into to three to five long form YouTube videos so each segment there's multiple ways people do this some people upload just the whole podcast think Lex fredman whole thing 4 hours that's the whole podcast one long form YouTube video some people though do like three long form three videos plus the whole thing so they'll upload segment one segment two segment three and then they'll upload the whole podcast as a whole that's a strategy that like Ben Shapiro does or some other channels my first are some of these that do certain types of sometimes they'll do Clips sometimes they'll do the whole podcast now that's this long form video so really good thumbnails really good titles so if I'm talking about Peter levels I'll be like how this how this guy makes 300K a month with for software tools or something really interesting based on numbers with a thumbnail format that I can copy and paste copy and paste so it's a similar thumbnail format so my first million does a really good job of this they have really interesting thumbnails and titles but they're all the same variation so it's going to be pictures and then it's going to be the three to seven words in a quote format and it's going to have different people it's going to be different things but they're you know they're really good thumbnails but they don't require coming up with a brand new concept every single time right this is scaled out to the point where thumbnails can be created pretty quickly so that podcast can become the long videos that require thumbnails but then also shorts so they can be shorts maybe four to five shorts per podcast that are clipped uh and posted on YouTube shorts Instagram reals and Tik Tok so now all of a sudden just sitting down for an hour or two on a random Monday you have four long videos plus maybe four times three different platforms 12 short form videos you have probably you can do like 20 pieces of content from one podcast and you just do that indefinitely and you scale it out and you have that and you can even add shorts in reaction Clips other things like that so it's the best way to like scale content because like what I'm doing right now these tutorial based shorter videos are good they're informational they're sometimes entertaining sometimes they're not that entertaining people just want the information they don't care about what I say they just want the info and they want to leave but also a lot of people want to be entertained on YouTube and a podcast format can is the best for repurposing because you've seen the short clips on Tik Tok and stuff if it's business related it's two people talking it's not me commanding you to do something through this through the lens so uh that's a really interesting format for a podcast because you do a podcast but you do it on YouTube you use AI to speed up the brainstorming process so I've used chat GPT to do this it's like I this is my Niche this is what I want to talk about how can I have interesting contrarian angles different segments and what could I talk about in this Niche give me 20 episode ideas then you just do it because there's value in you know we have to build an audience anywhere like we said to do that we have to create content that people see whether in the form of blog post YouTube videos or short videos now people to see that we need more of it so to have more of it we do it in the right format so it can be repurposed so instead of just having one video we have 20 so there's different ways to do that the pros and cons are it's really easy to get started it's a huge audience Builder it just takes a lot of time a podcast building that audience you see any big Channel out there that has a cool podcast like you know it's usually you look back at their oldest videos on YouTube and it's been 5 years or more so again we just have to think longer term when it comes to real businesses I'd rather talk about real stuff that takes skill that might take years that can change your life and become a millionaire than something that'll take you five minutes to learn and can make you $10 that's just not that interesting to me so when I talk about podcast say I'm not just saying start a podcast and you know talk about whatever I'm saying start a podcast on a topic that you can teach in so that you can sell people into a course in community on YouTube do a single hour to 2 hours and then repurpose that in multiple ways to scale out your content and then you have four revenue streams there's always four right there's going to be sponsors ad Revenue affiliate Revenue because you can recommend products and stuff too in these videos and selling your own product which is a community so all four of those don't interfere with each other you can do that and scale your content so what I'm saying here is let's combine the YouTube podcast scaling method with number one on the list which was the course Community method method and now you have a way to scale the content into a community and I have more videos on each of these these topics in depth if you just search my channel for it so again easy to get started huge audience Builder just takes a lot of time you want to have somebody do this it kind of sucks to be just doing all of this yourself you could but it's a lot of Clips it's a lot of uploading it's easy editing it's not fancy video editing but it's a lot of editing it's a lot of clip uploading there are tools like Opus clip that can repurpose automatically so this tool is pretty cool you just drop in a YouTube link link you get clips and then it will show you there's like a calendar tab so you can uh I was doing this a little bit in November so you can see like you can just publish things to Instagram YouTube X even Tik Tok all of that so it's pretty cool what it does is it scans the entire video and then it finds interesting points in the video and makes it turns it into a vertical video for shorts and then it gives you an uploading schedule that you can just push publish so these tools are only going to get smarter so the time to create content is now the time to start building a business is now just think about it that way and you can use AI tools to brainstorm to come up with ideas to to clip stuff to do all of it all and then number seven on the list one that I'm covering is an AI agency so the agency business model is it's been around for a really long time a lot of people sell courses on just the agency model we have courses within our own programs that teach it but it's quite simple if you want to make the most money immediately out of the gate starting from zero you sell services so you sell your time to do stuff right when we think about passive income millions of people visiting your site clicking all this stuff and you're making money at night while you sleep when you think about well how do you make money when you don't have an audience at all yet sales sales over the phone selling services that is it that is the agency business model so you could sell digital marketing Services you could do pay-per-click advertising for local businesses you could do uh short form video editing where you're adding captions and doing that and you have you could pretty much sell any type of service anything that you want so it's really quite simple you don't have an audience online yet you have less people visiting you you need to do Outreach then and get people through email and through phone calls to give you money it's really that simple so you develop a core offer it could be AI content it could be Business Development training like I said it could be a number of different things you price and package these offers so you want to make at least $1,000 minimum from somebody um might be tougher if you're selling local PPC Services they might want to only spend a few hundred bucks a month with you but think about good better best approach to selling packages and that could be $500 or like $1,000 3,000 an 8,000 the basic grow scale packages and with this one I'll give you 10 articles I'll write 10 AI based articles with this one I'll give you 30 articles whatever it is right so this business model and again in this video I've done every single thing on this list besides podcasting which we're going to be starting this strategy as well but I've done an agency in it that's how I actually accelerated my blogs early years 2019 and 2020 I've made over $100,000 each year just from selling services and I was doing link building and SEO for clients I was doing it through email I was price and packaging and it was very simple um this is actually how my whole kind of career started I was working at a pizza place um I worked at P I worked at pizza place for like three summers in college and then also two or three years after college so into my mid 20s I was working at a pizza place and I actually taught myself PPC I got a couple I was doing it for the pizza place and then I got a client which was an investment firm I walked into this big office and I was like oh these people are serious but they knew really not much about marketing so I started doing email marketing random stuff for him but that's when I first realized I was like hm actually it's simple math the agency business model is good because it is really simple math it's like if I can get $3,000 per client then I need four clients to make $122,000 a month that's $144,000 a year with that I could hire one you know lowlevel content manager to kind of run everything for me and I'm making a profit margin of 75% and it's a good business model and the more the more clients you have the more employees you can SC do it and you just scale up and it's it is again the ceiling on an agency is huge you could have a $10 million agency or more hundred million a big agency it's highly scalable it's just not passive especially at the beginning you are selling your time to do a service the good thing about an agency though is over time you're selling someone else's time you're managing the business as a whole so ultimately we talked about a lot we talked about e-commerce podcasting agencies blogging YouTube selling your own products I think number one the best method if you're going to get started as a beginner is one we need an audience we have to look long term think in terms of months and years not in terms of how am I gonna get $20 this weekend because if you want to make $20 this weekend then yes go on Fiverr and sell random stuff whatever you think now if you want to make life-changing money you actually have to learn skills and build a real business not just a fake online business so I'd say if you want to build a big business in 2025 do the YouTube teaching and the podcast repurposing method to then get people into a course in community that is the way to scale an audience build an mrr product for the highest valuation by having a community that is a monthly subscription and doing that through the YouTube podcasting giant brand method where you have four revenue streams including ads affiliate marketing sponsors and of course your own product so if you're interested in joining
